It's a jam-packed week for housing market data. The schedule includes the Case-Shiller National Home Price Index on Tuesday, followed by Mortgage Applications and New Home Sales data on Wednesday, and concluding with the Pending Home Sales report on Thursday.Well, we've got a slew of fresh housing data this week expected to reveal affordability challenges not going away hobbling the important spring selling season and Yahoo finances Danny Romero has more on the breakdown here.

But the inventory is still below levels last seen before the pandemic, when mortgage rates were much lower.The median sales price increased 5.8% from a year ago to 419,300.Data from Redfin shows that home prices nationally rose 0.3% month over month in May, the smallest seasonally adjusted increase since January last year.
