FG has accused former President, Muhammadu Buhari's government of mismanaging $100m from a $500m World Bank loan for women empowerment

Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, has accused the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari of mismanaging $100m from a $500m World Bank loan for women empowerment.

According to her, the funds are a loan and not a grant, stating the huge importance of proper management to ensure it’s repayment. “Let me make it clear. This is not a grant, it is a loan and when some monies are loans, they must have to be managed well so that the loans can be paid back.
