Prosecution to publish notice for 3rd party claims in 1MDB civil forfeiture suit | The Malaysian Insight

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has filed a civil forfeiture suit against 41 respondents to recover about RM270 million of 1MDB funds that were allegedly disbursed from the bank account of former prime minister Najib Razak. – EPA pic, June 25, 2019.

THE prosecution will publish in two months a notice for any third party with interest to stake a claim in more than RM216 million allegedly linked to Malaysia Development Bhd that were seized from seven individuals and entities. The seven were Umno; former Paya Besar MP Abdul Manan Ismail ; Wanita MCA; event management company Binsabi Sdn Bhd; investment company Perano Sdn Bhd; Sabah Umno liaison; and former Kuala Pilah MP Hasan Malek.
