Sky News host Peta Credlin says she doesn’t “want to be that generation” which “leaves younger Australians with huge national debt and no way to pay it off”. Credlin

Peta Credlin says she doesn’t “want to be that generation” which “leaves younger Australians with huge national debt and no way to pay it off”. The Sky News host also said she doesn’t want to be that generation which “sells out our industry and jobs” only to “tick-off” Australia’s Paris climate agreement obligations.

“I don’t want to be that generation that thinks we can lose mining and give up on agriculture because we’re worried about emissions,” she said. Ms Credlin’s comments came after Labor frontbencher Joel Fitzgibbon recommended his party comply with the Coalition’s emissions reduction target - reducing emissions to 28 percent by 2030.

Are you just going to talk about it as usual? credlin

I don’t like to say it but I will...the most conceited, lacking in big vision, risk averse generation of all time...as I call them, the “fxxk you” generation.

Credlin will only be remembered for one thing. Sending Australia back to the 1950s by having her hand up the backend of this muppet on behalf of her American master. auspol

Too late Pete. ScoNo is already handling the NationalDebt 😂😂😂 AusPol He’s Scott No idea.

Where's Joe Hockey's and Frydenbergs projected surplus? Liberal party are liars.

greenpeace Dr Patrick Moore and climate science

Unfortunately there are a couple of State Premiers who are hellbent on accumulating as much debt as possible with no intention of ever paying it down. Credlin

Bit late for that

Then I can show her how it can be done.

But happy to burn all the coal in the world 😂😂😂😂👌

Add increasing house prices, medical and education costs - your Govt has pretty much fucked the next generation Peta...

THE LNP COALITION FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS TRUPPLED THE NATIONAL DEBT...stagnated Australians wages lowering our standard of living for 6 consecutive years and ABOUT TO SEND AUSTRALIA INTO RECESSION.. and then there’s water and electricity infrastructure neglect and failures...

No problem. China intends waiving the debt when they take over.

A childless ruthless short sighted blatent greedy big business and greedy rich serving..anti Australian worker..pro foreign corporations supporting media puppet

Don't worry there is no future without regent action on climate.$ will mean nothing on unlivable planet.

End the FED .. 'then we can all get some sleep' ?! G'Day Credlin

Well Libs keep the debt clock ticking over

Well I just checked the national debt and it's pretty high compared to 6 years ago. So who should I be voting for?

Lulz....

......and the environment Peta? Joke

How about far more important legacies like water and energy policy and infrastructure....wage increases...the scheduled superannuation increase...the NDIS..the NBN...foreign worker numbers... unemployment..underemployment...environmental destruction and climate change ignorance

No hence the drainage of the billabong Everything is connected Power back to the people WWG1WGA

Too Late. 🤑

Jebus does this Credlin woman have any self awareness at all?

Why are we in debt? Oh that right.... Auspol

The only way to reduce carbon dioxide is innovation making the new energy source cheaper than fossil fuels. I can not see renewables doing it, to be 100% renewables storage would need to be $20 kwh. At the moment lithium battery is about $175 kwh.

Indeed. It's best to keep a surplus & not debt. No govt bonds means true balanced budget & no interest payable. Norway has done very well for itself, has a surplus in a sovereign fund, fully funded govt services, pensions etc. Good quality of life. Why hasn't Aust?

Does Peta realise that she works for a company that has paid virtually no corporate tax in 5 years and gets millions in government handouts.

Spirraling debt. Plummeting economy. Stagnant wages. Drought inaction. Climate change inaction. Record number of asylum seekers. Free speech crackdown. NDIS mis-administration. How good is the LNP?

So how about collecting some taxes then off the people that can afford to pay!? auspol
