Millions will be receiving a boost to their Universal Credit this week including a base rate increase and more in childcare costs

From Universal Credit to Child Benefit – millions of people will this month see an uplift in benefits – thanks to the start of the new financial year. The increases – which were first announced by the Chancellor in his Autumn Statement – were in line with inflation.

Extra £470 per year The uprate to all benefits has seen millions of households on universal credit – on average – receive an extra £470 per year, depending on their circumstances. How much more money can I get towards childcare?
