DWP sending letters to 500,000 people with Universal Credit benefits boost

The Department for Work and Pensions says this will come as a boost to the half a million people with a letter set to inform them how they need to take action.

As a result, people on Universal Credit are 'more likely to have a job' within 6 months, the government claims. "Recent findings have shown Universal Credit claimants are more likely to be in work within six months of making a claim.
