DWP hands out £7,411 to people on Universal Credit benefits from today

People on one type of DWP benefits are set to get a boost dropping into their bank accounts from today, with up to £465 more cash for those eligible, up to a total handout of £7,411.20 per year.

But there's a welcome boost for anyone on Universal Credit because from today, everyone on the benefit will be handed a cash boost to their DWP benefits in the new tax year.Various benefits have been given an 'uplift' from April 8 which will see more money dropping into bank accounts for the handouts.
